This is MARO Wines' first red Pinot Noir release.
While possessing the charming fruit aromas characteristic of Pinot Noir, this wine also features savory notes with umami and a hint of saltiness, reminiscent of matsutake mushrooms and kombu seaweed, along with soft tannins, truly emblematic of Hokkaido Pinot Noir. Though light-bodied and nimble, it offers a rich and expansive flavor on the palate. The abundant aroma and balance make this a quintessential MARO Wines Pinot Noir.

▪️Isolated Hill Pinot Noir 2023, North Canterbury▪️【Red】
While harnessing the quality of fully ripened grapes grown in New Zealand, this wine is intentionally crafted to avoid excessive extraction of fruit and tannins.
The aroma of red fruits like raspberry and cherry is complemented by a tranquil forest-like atmosphere, followed by minerality and a balanced spice that lingers on the finish.
This Pinot Noir strikes a good balance between fruitiness and an earthy character.
