【Wine Description】
▪️Pinot Noir 2024 [Red]
This is MARO Wines' first release of a Pinot Noir red.
While possessing the charming fruit aromas characteristic of Pinot Noir, this wine also has umami with saline notes and aromas reminiscent of matsutake mushrooms and kombu, along with soft tannins, symbolizing Hokkaido Pinot Noir. Though light-bodied and refreshing, it offers a substantial breadth of flavor on the palate, with a richness of aroma and balance that is distinctly MARO Wines' Pinot Noir. This wine, with its delicate and intricate flavors, is best enjoyed with elegant Japanese cuisine.

▪️Zweigeltrebe 2024 [Red]
A red wine that reflects the scenery of the vineyard, made using "Zweigeltrebe," one of the black grape varieties widely cultivated in Hokkaido, of which MARO Wines is proud.
Careful selection in the vineyard, and the perfect ripeness of the 2024 grapes at harvest, made this the best vintage in the past ten years.
Aroma where fresh fruit and wildness intertwine.
A crisp acidity forms the backbone of the flavor, expressing a focused finish with a high texture from fine tannins. While tight and relatively light-bodied, it is a dry style with a sense of fullness. This wine is best enjoyed with spicy red meat or light game dishes.
