This is a wine brimming with beautiful fruit flavors that embodies the essence of MARO Wines, and it has been well-received every year.
To express the fruitiness of MARO Wines' Chardonnay directly, fermentation and aging are typically done 100% in stainless steel tanks.
For the 2024 vintage, the fruit development was different from previous years, requiring a different approach to bring out its richness. Therefore, 20% of the wine was aged in wooden barrels.
It features a deep aroma with gentle spices layered over restrained fruit.
This is a medium-bodied dry style characterized by a mellow texture from its creamy expansion. From a delicate first impression, the wine expands in the mid-palate with a richness of fruit, balanced by vibrant, high acidity. This wine can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes by varying its temperature.

▪️Pinot Noir 2024▪️【Red】
This is MARO Wines' first release of red Pinot Noir.
While possessing the charming fruit aromas characteristic of Pinot Noir, this wine also features aromas reminiscent of matsutake mushrooms and kombu seaweed, along with an umami taste accompanied by salinity and soft tannins, symbolizing Hokkaido Pinot Noir. Despite being light-bodied and refreshing, it offers a solid breadth of flavor when tasted, and its rich aroma and balance make it a quintessential MARO Wines Pinot Noir. This is a wine to be enjoyed with elegant Japanese cuisine, matching its delicate and refined flavor.
