About MARO Wines

"Clean Wine Where Good Microbes Work"

This is a wine brand from Naganuma Town, Hokkaido, dedicated to pursuing pure deliciousness.

We value winemaking that brings out the individuality of each grape variety, making the most of the potential unique to grapes grown in Hokkaido.

This Hokkaido wine brand was established by Naoyuki Maro in 2022 to pursue purely "delicious" wine.

In 2023, Japan's first shared winery, (Hokkaido SPACE Winery), was built in Naganuma Town, Sorachi region, and winemaking in our own facility began with the 2023 vintage.

【MARO Wines' Winemaking】
① Clean wine where good microbes work
② Respecting varietal characteristics
③ Constantly questioning
④ Delivering with sincerity
⑤ Opening up to children

MARO Wines aims to produce delicious wines based on academic knowledge and experience in cultivation and winemaking.

What all our wines have in common is that
"the lively, vibrant aroma of the grape variety itself rises, and the flavor rides on the peak of supple acidity, consistently creating a clean texture through to the finish."

The potential of grapes grown in Hokkaido is high, and we strive daily to deliver wines that allow you to feel the future of Japanese wine through MARO Wines.
